The Spring Craft and Trade Show in Shaunavon held over the past week end was a huge success.

Organizer Leona Brewer said there were 32 vendors at the show, which saw about 250 people through the doors this past Friday and Saturday.

She said, "The total would have been $1,368 for the Trade Show. We donated 900 of that to the Courtesy Van to help them pay for their fuel. We donated $200 to 4H Archery because they come and help us set up and tear down. And then the remaining $268 we donated to Long Term Care to buy their bedding plants for outside this year."

Brewer said they also held a raffle for Shaunavon Long Term Care, which raised $1,175 for birthday parties for residents.

The next Craft and Trade Show is being organized for the end of September.
