Yesterday morning, Maple Creek RCMP responded to a business at the junction of Highway 1 and Highway 21, regarding a report of a truck that had been stolen from Moose Jaw.

Upon arrival, officers located two occupants inside the vehicle.

The female occupant was arrested without issue, however, the male occupant refused to comply with directions from the officers and a struggle ensued.

Eventually, the male was subdued and placed in police custody.

Upon his arrest, it was also discovered that he was the subject of outstanding arrest warrants issued by the Swift Current Municipal RCMP for Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Flight from Police, and Break and Enter.

As a result, 39-year-old Jenna Cade, of Saskatoon and 35-year-old Raymond Davis, of Maple Creek are both facing charges.

Cade is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $500. She was released from custody to appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on February 8.

Davis is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $500 and resisting arrest.

Davis had previously been the subject of a December media release for the Swift Current allegations of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Flight from Police.  He has been remanded into custody and will next appear in Swift Current Provincial Court on February 1, 2023.
