The Saskatchewan Roughriders remained unbeaten in the young CFL season after a thrilling 33-30 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday.

Trevor Harris threw for 390 yards and two touchdowns as the Riders rallied from down 20-7 halftime deficit. CJ Avery intercepted a pass from Bo Levi Mitchell with the game tied at 30-30 in the final minute to set up Brett Lauther's game-winning 43-yard field goal on the final play.

The Riders will face the Ti-Cats again in their home opener on Sunday at Mosaic Stadium.

57's rained out in Brooks

After the Swift Current 57's picked up a win in a rain-shortened game in Brooks, their game against the Bombers on Father's Day was rained out and rescheduled to July 10.

The 57's return to action on Wednesday when they host the Sylvan Lake Gulls.

Varsho slam lifts Jays over Guardians

Daulton Varsho hit a grand slam in the fifth inning to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 7-6 win over the Cleveland Guardians as the Jays too two of three in the weekend series.

Toronto starts a three-game set with the Boston Red Sox tonight with Yusei Kikuchi starting in the opener.

Celtics get another chance to clinch NBA title tonight

After the Dallas Mavericks staved off elimination with a 122-84 rout on Friday, the Boston Celtics will have another chance to capture an 18th NBA title on their home court in game five of the finals tonight at TD Garden. The Celtics won the first two games at home before getting a split in Texas.

Game six, if necessary, will be in Dallas on Thursday.
