The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, the Saskatchewan RCMP and the families of the deceased victims, have released the names of those who died as a result of the stabbings on James Smith Cree Nation and in Weldon, Saskatchewan.

The deceased victims are identified as:

28-year-old Gregory Burns of James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan (photograph below)

61-year-old Lydia Gloria Burns of James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan (photograph below)

48-year-old Bonnie Burns of James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan (photograph below)

66-year-old Earl Burns of James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan (no photograph is available)

49-year-old Lana Head of James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan (photograph below)

54-year-old Christian Head of James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan (photograph below)

49-year-old Robert Sanderson of James Smith Cree Nation, Saskatchewan (photograph below)

Identities of those who are injured will not be released, but it is confirmed one young teen was injured and the remaining are all adults, both men and women.
