More shows have been cancelled by the Canadian Force’s Snowbirds following a crash landing in Fort St. John, B.C. on Aug. 2.

The Snowbirds announced on Thursday that they have cancelled a performance on Tues, Aug. 9, in White Rock, B.C. for the Snowbirds Fly for C.H.I.L.D. event. The air demonstration team will also miss the Edmonton International Air Show on Aug. 13 and 14.

The 431 Air Demonstration Squadron previously announced the cancellation of shows in Penticton and Abbotsford.

One of the Snowbirds’ spare aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff in Fort St. John. The pilot was not injured, but the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
