In the February 2 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority they are reporting a total of 611 new confirmed cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 611 cases, there are 11 reported in the South West zone - 2 in South West subzone 1, and 9 in South West subzone 2.

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 119,894, of which 10,354 are considered active.

There are 300 active cases in the South West zone - 75 in South West subzone 1, and 225 in South West subzone 2.

There are 4 new deaths reported, none in the South West  zone, bringing the provincial total number of deaths to 997.

There are 1,634 recoveries, 49 in the South West zone, bringing the provincial total number of recoveries to 108,543.

There are  372 people in the hospital - 332 are receiving inpatient care, and 40 are in intensive care.

Of the 332 patients receiving inpatient care, 133 are a COVID-19 related illness, 173 are incidental COVID-19 infections, and 26 have not yet been determined.

Of the 40 patients in intensive care, 30 are for COVID-19 related illnesses, and 9 are for incidental COVID-19 infections.

There is 1 person in PICU/NICU for COVID-19 related illnesses.

There  were 972 COVID-19 vaccinations administered yesterday, 13 of those in the South West zone.
