The Saskatchewan Party says they want the Premier to tour our worst roads in the province.

Highway Critic, Randy Weekes, says they have collected 200 invitations for Lorne Calvert to travel 34 highways.

The Saskatchewan Party wants to see an economic assessment of all our highways along with a four-year rebuilding plan. The NDP government says they already know about the problem areas, and point to their latest strategy of moving 1200 kilometers of our system to primary weight status.

The Minister of Highways and Transportation, Eldon Lautermilch, says don’t expect any special trips.

He says this year, the province is putting more than the equivalent of what they take in fuels tax, into the highway budget.
