In the September 30 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority there are a total of fourteen new cases of the virus in the province.

Of those fourteen new cases, one is in the North East zone, eight are in the Saskatoon zone, one is in the Central West zone, two are in the Central East zone, and two are in the Regina zone.

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 1,913, of which 139 are considered active.

In the South West zone there are no active cases.

There are thirteen more recoveries today, bringing that provincial total to 1,750.

There are nine people in hospital. Eight are receiving inpatient care -five in Saskatoon, one in Regina, and two in the South West zone, and one person is in intensive care in the North Central zone.

There have been a total of twenty four deaths related to COVID-19 reported thus far.

To date, there have been 190,795 COVID-19 tests performed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 1,280 COVID-19 tests done.
