In the November 19 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting a total of 98 new cases of the virus in the province.

Weather and logistical impediments resulted in a volume of specimens reaching The Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory after the reporting period for November 19.

Of those 98 new cases there are 2 in the Far North West zone, 3 in the Far North East zone, 12 in the North West zone, 12 in the North Central zone, 5 in the North East zone, 10 in the Saskatoon zone, 1 in the Central West zone, 5 in the Central East zone, 25 in the Regina zone, 14 in the South Central zone, and 5 in the South East zone.

Four cases have pending residence information.

That brings the provincial total number of COVID-19 cases to 5,651, of which 2,066 are considered active.

There are currently 37 active cases in the South West zone.

There were a total of 132 recoveries reported today, bringing that provincial total to 3,553.

There are currently 83 people in hospital. Sixty-two people are receiving inpatient care - 5 in the North West zone, 5 in the North Central zone, 2 in the North East zone, 30 in the Saskatoon zone, 6 in the Regina zone, 2 in the South West zone, 1 in the South Central zone, and 11 in the South East zone.

There are a total of 21 people in intensive care - 4 in the North Central zone, 9 in Saskatoon, 2 in the Central East zone, 1 in the South West zone, and 5 in Regina.

There have been 32 deaths related to COVID-19 reported in the province.

To date, 307,264 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 2,004 COVID-19 tests processed.

In the weekly testing numbers for children and youth aged 0-19 years, for the week of November 9-15, there were a total of 445 active cases. Of those 445 cases, 4 are listed as unknown location/residence.

There are 27 cases in the Far North West zone,16 in the Far North Central zone 31 in the Far North East zone, 50 in the North West zone, 58 in the North Central zone, 22 in the North East zone,1 in the Central West zone, 21 in the Central East zone, 111 in the Saskatoon zone, 70 in the Regina zone, 7 in the South West zone, 13 in the South Central zone, and 14 in the South East zone.
