Kyle's Rylan Williams had two goals and an assist and Swift Current's Parker Rondeau added a goal and two helpers as the Swift Current Home Hardware U18 Legionnaires beat the Battlefords Stars 4-1 at InnovationPlex on Saturday night.

Williams assisted on Rondeau's goal to open the scoring in the first period, and then scored twice in the second to put Swift Current up 3-0 after 40 minutes. Campbell Pinsonneault scored on the power play to make it 4-0 before Ethan Sautner spoiled Berney Weston's shutout bid with 4:20 left in the third.

Eric Hoiness, Brendan Quinn-Lagria, Zach Reeder and Keelan Mansuy also had assists and Weston made 28 saves for the win as Swift Current outshot the Battlefords 33-29.

The Legionnaires (17-3-0-1) have won 11 straight games and sit one point back of the first-place Saskatoon Blazers in the league standings as they host the Stars again Sunday afternoon at 1:45pm from InnovationPlex.
