The southwest corner of Saskatchewan is seeing normalcy return to daily life, as more and more events return to the community.

Over the weekend, two tradeshows made their grand return to the Swift Current area.

Garden of Eden Greenhouse and Gifts brought back their annual Mother's Day market, which was held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Elli Friesen, sales associate at Garden of Eden Greenhouse and Gifts, said that the day turned out to be an overwhelming success.

“We were really happy with the outcome of it,” she said. “We love seeing everybody's happy faces come through. We've had long lineups all day, so we've been super impressed with it all.”

The Mother’s Day Market featured numerous vendors, beef on a bun, a bouncy castle, Diamond T axe throwing and an endless variety of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs.

The Ladybug Tradeshow also made a reappearance on Saturday in Swift Current.

Located inside the Stockade, The Tradeshow Sisters hosted the largest spring tradeshow in the southwest part of the province, with over 90 vendors attending the show.
