Over the past 11 years, almost 2800 people have participated in the annual Wellness Challenge with the City.
This year's event begins on January 23 and will again run for 4 weeks.
Val Choo Foo is the In Motion Community Facilitator with the City of Swift Current and explained that the challenge is to keep track of daily wellness points.
"Those are in the areas of nutrition, physical activity, water, sleep, and mental health," she said. "So each week, individuals keep track of those points themselves and let their team captain know, and at end of the four weeks those points are sent in to me."
Choo Foo said the idea is not to end the challenge after the points are tallied but to continue incorporating the habits into daily life moving forwards.
