Three more Wildcats make university commitments

The Wildcats announced this week that Tess Bakus, Calla Kampen and Ella Wingert have committed to playing university hockey next season.

Bakus, the team's assistant captain from Swift Current, is joining Edmonton's MacEwan University Griffins. She's scored three goals and 13 points in 67 league games with the Wildcats.

Kampen and Wingert, both from Rosetown, will be playing at Lakeland College which feature former Wildcats Paris Appel and Laiken Swan. Kampen has nine goals and 17 points in her first season in Swift Current, while Wingert has six goals and 13 points in three seasons and was also named to Saskatchewan's U18 female hockey team for the upcoming Canada Winter Games in PEI.

Six members of the Wildcats have now made university commitments for next season, along with Jerzey Watteyne (Mount Royal University), Sadie Keller (University of Manitoba) and Caitlyn Perlinger (University of Calgary).
