The Swift Current Wolverines are off to the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League Junior finals after doubling up the visiting Regina Barracudas last night.

Ryder Turko had three goals and seven points and Shane Cornelson scored four times lifting Swift Current to a 14-7 victory at S3 West Arena.

The Wolverines built a 6-1 lead after the first period, emerged from the second 10-5, and pushed their advantage in the third to 14-7.

Paul Piche, Riley Schafer, and Grady Henderson all had five points in the win.

Swift Current will host game one of the best-of-three final against the Prince Albert Predators on July 20. The Predators beat the Wolverines in all three matchups this season.
