Great Southwest Shakespeare Festival Continues
The Great Southwest Shakespeare Festival continues this weekend with five more performances of As You Like It running Thursday through Sunday.
When: Thursday and Friday at 7:00pm, Saturday at 2:00 and 7:00pm, and Sunday at 7:00pm.
Where: Under the big tent at Riverside Park

Herbert Stampede Returns
Rodeo season kicks into high gear in the southwest with the Herbert Stampede happening all weekend with three rodeo performances and live music from Bakersfield on Friday and Saturday night.
When: Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31
Where: Herbert Stampede Grounds on Railway Avenue
Cost: $15 per day for adults, $10 per day for youth and free for children 10 and under
Street Dance in Cadillac
The B34ST from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the Heat Strokes from Swift Current will be heating things up on Friday night for a street dance in downtown Cadillac. You must be 19 or older to attend.
When: Friday, July 29, at 6:30pm
Where: Lasalle Street in Cadillac
Cost: $15 cover charge
World Record Attempt at Lac Pelletier
Lac Pelletier Regional Park is looking to create a line of inflatables 300 metres long to get into the Guinness Book of World Records on Saturday afternoon. Registrations are complete for this event, but you’re welcome to watch history being made and celebrate with a beach party in the afternoon.
When: Saturday, July 30, the record attempt starts at 11:00am and the party begins at 1:00pm

Swift Current 57’s home games
The Swift Current 57’s get down to the final stretch of the WCBL season as they host the Medicine Hat Mavericks on Friday night and the Moose Jaw Miller Express on Sunday afternoon, followed by a Monday night game against Medicine Hat to wrap up the long weekend.
When: Friday at 7:05pm, Sunday at 2:05pm and Monday at 7:05pm

Saskatchewan 15U Baseball Provincials
The Swift Current 15U AAA 57's will host seven teams from across the province for Tier 1 provincials with action happening all weekend.
When: Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31
Where: Ford Field and Kinsmen Field (19th Ave NE)
