The 16U Boys Junior Sundogs volleyball team earned a tournament win in Caronport over the weekend.

At the first-annual Moose Jaw Phoenix Invitational Tournament, the 16U Boys Sundogs started off their run with four wins and a split:

Win over Phoenix 16U (25-16, 25-17)
Win over Yorkton Bongos (25-20, 25-14)
Win over Winnipeg Storm Volleyball (25-17, 25-9)
Split with RVC White (25-19, 18-25)
Win over Phoenix 15U (25-12, 25-7)

That spelled a first-place mark, and bye right into the finals for the 16U Sundogs.

In the final, the 16U Boys Junior Sundogs were able to improve on their split with RVC White, as they topped the Regina club in three sets (23-25, 25-22, 15-13) for a banner.

Team captain Brady Bell was the tournament MVP for the 16U Boys Junior Sundogs, who are next in action March 23-24 in Saskatoon.
