It's been one season and one championship for the Swift Current 57's.

Game Four starting pitcher Bobby St. Pierre is proud to be part of a pretty unique group.

"I think definitely for me, being one of the five guys that won the last championship as an Indian and won the first one as a 57, I think that's pretty special to me," St. Pierre said.

The 57's completed their comeback series win a 4-0 shutout Thursday night at home.

Head Coach Joe Carnahan said it was a fitting end to a great season.

"It was a fun year, the guys played well, we had a lot of support throughout the community and it was a great way to wrap it up last night," Carnahan said.

A record attendance of 1,189 was on hand to witness the 57's claim their 6th WMBL championship.
