The pursuit of a ninth-consecutive Moose Jaw High School Soccer League champion is still alive for the Swift Current Comp Ardens.

In the league semi-final Thursday afternoon in Moose Jaw, the Ardens shut out the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones 4-0.

Grade 10 striker Taylor Kohls put the team on her back in the match, scoring the first two goals of the game.

MJ Anderson and Rebecca Treen added goals of their own to round out the scoring for Swift Current.

Ali Vance assisted on two goals, while Lauryn Hayes and Jannae Carlson added single helpers - Jaden McKenzie earned the shutout in goal.

The Ardens will face the Weyburn Eagles in the championship match Tuesday, October 17 in Moose Jaw.
