In the second-last weekend of the regular season the Bantam AA 57s were on the winning and losing end of double-header sweeps.

The Bantam AA 57s were on the road in the provincial capital, falling 4-3 and 8-0 to the Regina Pacers on Saturday.

They bounced back with wins of 11-3 and 7-6 over the Regina Blue Jays on Sunday.

Dusty Cherpin picked up the win in the first contest pitching six innings, while Chase Coward grabbed the W in the second game.

The Bantam AA 57s close the regular season this Saturday on the road against the Moose Jaw Mallards.

League finals are slated for the July long weekend.
