Despite getting off to a slow start, the Bantam 'AAA' 57's managed to find their way at a tournament in Saskatoon.

The 57's got the event underway on Friday suffering a 6-5 loss to the Saskatoon A's.

On Saturday, the team found themselves on the wrong on end of the score against the Saskatoon Blue Jays.

Falling 7-3, the Bantam 'AAA' squad quickly found themselves in a hole.

However, they were able to dig out of it.

The 57's rounded out their pool schedule with an 11-1 win over the Regina White Sox to start building some momentum.

Taking on the White Butte Broncos next, Swift Current gave them the same treatment that the White Sox received.

The 57's rolled past the Broncos 11-1 to secure their spot in the Consolation Final.

Up against the Saskatoon Braves, Swift Current managed to come away with a 7-6 win to wrap-up the weekend.

The Bantam 'AAA' team will now return to league play on July 8th when they pay a visit to the Regina White Sox.
