A member of the Swift Current Broncos organization was honoured during a chilly Tuesday afternoon outside of the Innovation Credit Union iPlex.

Jamie "Butter" LeBlanc, the Swift Current Broncos' Head Athletic Trainer & Equipment Manager, was gifted with a street sign in his name leading to the bus door of the facility.

Broncos captain Glenn Gawdin (left) and forward Tyler Steenbergen (right) helped unveil the sign Tuesday afternoon.

"It's a big surprise - I wasn't expecting obviously anything like that, no words can really describe it," he said. "It's unbelievable, I'm very honoured and humbled by the fact that something like that is out there with my name on it. I come to work and I just do what I have to do in my job and that's what it is. Like I said I'm very humbled, but I don't have a whole lot to say, it's pretty amazing."

LeBlanc started his Canadian Hockey League career as an Assistant Trainer with the Brampton Battalion in the Ontario Hockey League.

After spending three seasons in the OHL in the late 90's, he moved onto the Broncos organization in the early 2000's.

LeBlanc is now in his 14th season with Swift Current and was honoured on October 1, 2016, for working his 1000th CHL game.
