The Swift Current Broncos are headed right back to where they started their WHL season two weeks ago as they visit Saskatoon tonight.

Broncos coach and director of player personnel Manny Viveiros expects a different Saskatoon club after the Broncos beat them 5-2.

"(It will be) a different game I think - they'll try to make some adjustments also too," he said. "We've got to play our game, and we're not going to change a whole lot of our game. But again, three games in, we have a lot of areas we can improve on."

After only 3 games in two weeks to start the season, the Broncos will play three games this weekend.

Viveiros says it will be important for all skaters to be ready to log ice time over the weekend, with the strenuous 72-hour schedule ahead.

"We need everybody on our roster - everybody that's here is going to play sometime," Viveiros said. "We need to use the bench early on in the weekend so we have enough gas for Sunday's game too. We need to have fresh bodies going in, especially later on in the weekend."

Broncos forwards Riley Stotts and Max Patterson echoed the necessity for shorter shifts this weekend, to keep the endurance level up late into the weekend.

"We've been worked pretty hard this week. We've had a few workouts and are trying to get everything down for the three (games) in three (days)," Stotts said. "We're just going to be going each game with short shifts and have some fun out there."

"Everybody's got to get on and off because it's a tough couple of games coming up, so everyone needs to stay fresh and stick to a game plan to make it easier," Patterson said.

They're in Saskatoon tonight at 7:05 p.m., host Kootenay in their home opener tomorrow at 7 p.m., and visit Moose Jaw on Sunday at 4 p.m.
