Ahead of a lop-sided Game 7 victory for the Swift Current Broncos, a pair of Broncos were named to the final list of the 2018 NHL Central Scouting Draft Prospect Rankings.

Goalie Joel Hofer and Defenceman Artyom Minulin were named to the final season list of draft eligible prospects, after logging time on the mid-season rankings list as well.

Hofer ends the season ranked seventh among North American goaltenders after holding the sixth spot midway through the season. The 17-year-old goaltender logged a 2.61 goals-against-average, a .914 save-percentage, and an 8-3-1-1 record in 19 appearances during the regular season. So far in two postseason appearances Hofer holds a nearly identical 2.60 goals-against-average, and an .875 save-percentage.

As for Minulin, the Russian-born blueliner holds the 186th spot among North American skaters after being 142nd at the midway point. Minulin notched a career-best 13 goals to go along with a second-best 43 points during the regular season. In 11 playoff games so far this postseason the 6-foot-2 prospect has put up a goal and a trio of assists - all coming in the most recent second-round playoff series against the Moose Jaw Warriors.

At least one more series provides Hofer and Minulin an additional chance to impress, as the Broncos host the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Final starting this coming Friday and Saturday at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex.

Meanwhile, the 2018 NHL Entry Draft will be held June 22-23, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
