The Swift Current Comp Senior Colts basketball team went 1-2 as hosts of a mini home tournament this weekend.

The Colts battled to a 92-82 win over Regina Sheldon Williams in their opener.

In a neck-and-neck fight, Austin Beverly-Collins scored 17, Scott Joseph had 16, and Carlos Dungca chipped in 15.

However, Swift Current was topped 95-79 by Lloydminster Comp, and 81-66 by Yorkton Comp.

Aussie Wiebe (17), Jesse Patzer (15), and Joseph (12) led the way against Lloydminster, while Joseph (14), Wiebe (13), and Bren Medina (7) were the high-scoring trio against Yorkton.

The Senior Colts are back in action March 1-2 in North Battleford in their final tournament before playoffs.
