Swift Current Broncos defenceman Colby Sissons is AHL bound.

The New Jersey Devils announced on Tuesday they had reassigned the 19 year-old blue-liner from the Swift Current Broncos to the Albany Devils.

The Devils are currently competing against the Toronto Marlies, who signed Broncos goalie Jordan Papirny to an ATO earlier this week, in the AHL Playoffs.

Sissons is the third Bronco to make his way to the AHL since Swift Current's season came to an end.

He joins Papirny, as well as Bronco's captain Glenn Gawdin, who signed at ATO with the Chicago Wolves.

Sissons posted 6 goals and 22 assists in 63 games during the 2016-17 regular season, before tallying 4 goals and 2 assists in 14 playoff games.

The Edmonton native will wear number 36 with Albany.
