Swift Current's duo of Brody Alexandre and Jackson Fraser rounded out their T12 baseball showcase over the weekend in Toronto.

Playing on the Prairie Purple regional prospect team, Alexandre and Fraser went 0-3-1 at the tournament.

After a 1-0 loss and 1-1 tie to open the tournament, the final two games of their schedule saw a 9-2 loss to Futures Navy on Saturday, and a 3-1 loss to Atlantic Maroon on Sunday.

In the lop-sided loss to the Futures side, Alexandre shone at the plate. He went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer, to score both of Prairie's runs in the game.

The third baseman was out of the lineup on Sunday, while Fraser made his second appearance on the mound in their final game.

The right-hander pitched one scoreless inning against Atlantic, walking two batters and striking out another.

Fraser finished the tournament with four total innings pitched. He surrendered three hits and five walks, while striking out seven batters.

Alexandre closed T12 going a combined 1-for-5 with that two-run homer serving as his lone hit. He also had a walk and two strikeouts.

Meanwhile, Ontario Green defeated Alberta Red 5-2 in the final yesterday afternoon.
