Put one in the win column for Swift Current’s Tanner Fritzke and Team Saskatchewan at Baseball Canada’s 21U Men’s Championships co-hosted by Ontario, ON and Gatineau, QC.

Team Sask piled on Ontario 2 14-2 late yesterday afternoon. It was their first win of round robin play through three contests, after losses of 4-3 to Nova Scotia and 7-2 to Quebec.

Fritzke, a pitcher for Team Sask didn’t end up seeing action out of the bullpen due to a complete-game shutout by starter Parker McRae who went the six-inning distance giving up four hits to go with the pair of runs.

In the final game of the round robin, Saskatchewan will play Prince Edward Island Saturday to determine their playoff fate.
