Swift Current's Tanner Fritzke is seeing game action early in the Baseball Canada 2017 21U Men's Championships in Ottawa, ON and Gatineau, QC yesterday.

The pitcher made a relief appearance in Team Sask's opening game to Nova Scotia, a 4-3 loss.

A flawless nine-pitch seventh inning of work out of the bullpen for Fritzke as he retired all three Nova Scotia batters he faced.

In Saskatchewan's second game of the day, a 7-2 loss to Quebec, Fritzke didn't see game action.

At 0-2 for the tournament, Fritzke and Team Sask are in action in round robin play today against Ontario 2, along with P.E.I. on Saturday.
