There could be an all Swift Current Broncos line in Tucson next season.

The Roadrunners signed graduated Broncos sniper Matteo Gennaro this weekend to a one-year AHL deal.

Gennaro joins the Arizona Coyotes farm team with a real possibility of playing on the same team as former Broncos forward Lane Pederson and sniper Tyler Steenbergen.

Gennaro scored 40 goals in back-to-back seasons in closing out his WHL career and helped take the Broncos to the WHL Championship after being acquired from Calgary in a blockbuster trade.

He was picked by Winnipeg in the 2015 NHL draft, but the Jets didn't sign him and Gennaro was able to join the Roadrunners as a free agent.

Swift Current added Gennaro and Beck Malenstyn in a deal that saw the several talented young players including former first round bantam draft picks Riley Stotts and Dom Schmiemann join the Hitmen. Toronto picked Stotts in this weekend's NHL draft.
