Another weekend of Swift Current minor baseball is in the books.

Going around the horn, the Bantam ‘AAA’ 57’s picked up a split on the road in Weyburn.

After dropping the first game of their double-header 8-5, the Bantam’s rebounded for an 8-6 win in the back half.

The Pee Wee ‘AAA’ 57’s had a strong weekend going 3-1.

They swept Estevan 8-6 and 22-12 on Saturday, before splitting with the Regina White Sox on Sunday, losing 7-2 and winning 14-9.

The Mosquito ‘AAA’ 57’s began their season with a pair of losses at home on Saturday.

The Mosquito’s fell to Lumsden 13-8 and 11-4.

Then on Sunday, the Mosquito 57's fell 18-15 to the Regina Buffalos, but tied the Buffalos 11-11 in their second game.

Meanwhile, the Midget 'AAA' 57's were not competing in league play, but were at a tournament in Calgary.

The 57's went on to finish second, losing the 'A' final in extra innings to the host Calgary Redbirds.

The Midget's will resume their season on Wednesday when they return to league play, travelling to Regina to battle the Athletics.
