Aleksi Heponiemi's two goals and four assists over three games last week is a big part of why the Swift Current Broncos are up 2-0 in the third round against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, and it's the reason he was named the WHL player of the week for that stretch.

The Florida Panthers prospect and Finnish import is tied with Broncos captain Glenn Gawdin for four in WHL playoff scoring. They each have 22 points. Heponiemi's 20 assists (over 16 games) rank first.

Swift Current is back at it with Tuesday and Wednesday road games in Lethbridge. Game 5 would be back at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex.
