The 2017 portion of the schedule gets underway Tuesday night for the K-Motel Midget 'AA' Broncos.

Having gone winless in their final six games of 2016, the Broncos will hope the new year will help get them back into the win column.

They'll be on the road Tuesday in the provincial capital, where they will face the Regina Capitals.

The Broncos and Capitals have yet to meet this season, however, Swift Current will enter the contest ahead of Regina by five points in league standings.

The Capitals will also be playing their first game of 2017, and will be looking to snap a two game losing skid.

Puck drop is scheduled for 8:15 in Regina.
