An efficient power-play and a shut-out was everything the Kabos Bantam 'AA' Broncos needed and more Wednesday night at the Fairview Arenas.

Hosting the Moose Jaw Warriors, the Broncos went 4 for 5 with the man-advantage, while Justin Dueck made 28 saves in goal to secure a 6-0 Swift Current win.

Swift Current got rolling in the first period with four goals in the opening frame.

Joe Arntsen, Rhett Evjen, Cash Arntsen and Tanner Funk all scored in the first twenty minutes to put the Broncos ahead 4-0.

Swift Current's leading scored Reed Jacobson then got in on the action in the second period.

Jacobson put home his 39th goal of the season to extend the Broncos lead to 5-0.

Cash Arntsen then put the finishing touches on the game in the final minutes of the third period, scoring his second of the contest and putting Swift Current up 6-0.

With the victory, the Broncos moved into a tie for first place in the South Division with the Yorkton Terriers, however, the Terriers have two games remaining on their schedule, while Swift Current only has one.

That game though, will be against Yorkton on February 11th in Swift Current.

Following the contest, the Terriers will then visit Moose Jaw on the 12th to finish their regular season.
