Next-up, the Saskatchewan Bantam 'AA' Hockey League South Division semi-finals.

The Kabos Bantam 'AA' Broncos are moving on to the South Division semi's following a 5-1 win in Estevan on Saturday.

Entering the contest with a 1-0 lead in their best of three series, Broncos forward Rhett Evjen made sure the Bruins had no thoughts of extending the series the distance.

After the Bruins took a 1-0 lead midway through the first, Evjen took over the scoresheet.

He quickly responded just 51 seconds after Estevan's goal to put Swift Current back on even ground and tie the game 1-1.

Then in the second period, Evjen put together a natural hat-trick, scoring two straight goals for the Broncos, giving them a 3-1 lead.

Riley Dekowny then found the back of the net for Swift Current, increasing the advantage to 4-1, before Evjen put home his fourth goal of the game in the third period to round out the scoring.

Mac Gross, Keagon Little and Reed Jacobson all picked up two assists each in the victory for Swift Current, while Justin Dueck picked up the win in goal.

The Broncos will now prepare to face the Regina Monarchs in the next round.

Game one of the best of three series will be played Wednesday at the Fairview Arenas.
