Last night marked a second straight game on the losing end of an overtime contest with a Notre Dame team for the Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires.

The Legionnaires fell 4-3 in OT on November 5 to the Notre Dame Hounds, and last night dropped a 3-2 contest in added time to the Notre Dame Argos.

Swift Current was the team who leapt out to a lead in the game, as just 16 seconds into an Argos' first-period slashing penalty, Lucas Ochitwa and Jerzy Orchard set up Rin Beny for his sixth goal of the season.

Again, Swift struck on the man-advantage in the second period. Mason Strutt scored on a feed from Orchard once again, along with an assist from Beny on the play.

The 2-0 Legionnaires lead would last late into the third period, but the Argos began their comeback on a goal with 7:46 left in the game.

They'd answer again two minutes later to tie the game up and send the game to an extra frame.

Notre Dame didn't need much overtime to work with to complete the comeback win - just 24 seconds ticked off the clock before the Argos' Tanner Mortenson beat Legionnaires' goaltender Cody Levesque to end the game.

Levesque stopped 19 of 22 shots in the loss, while Swift Current managed a solid 35 shots of their own, but finished 2-for-12 on the power-play.

The Legionnaires are back on home ice on Sunday after the pair of single points brought their record to 9-4-0-2 on the year, and face the Saskatoon Contacts (6-6-0-3) - a team they beat 7-2 the previous weekend at home as well.
