Sitting two points out of the eighth and final playoff spot, the Home Hardware Midget 'AAA' Legionnaires will try to make up ground Wednesday night.

Resuming their Saskatchewan Midget 'AAA' Hockey League schedule the Legionnaires are heading east to Regina for a date with the league-leading Pat Canadians.

It will be the fourth and final meeting this season between the two teams, with Regina having won the first three.

On the positive side for Swift Current though, they have managed to keep two of the three games close.

Outside of a 5-1 loss, the other two defeats were by scores of 4-2 and 3-2, with the Legionnaires holding leads in both contests.

Following Wednesday night's game, Swift Current will be down to just four regular season games remaining.

They'll play host to the Beardy's Blackhawks February 11 and 12 before finishing the season in Tisdale against the Trojans on February 18 and 19.

Puck drop from Regina between Swift Current and the Pat Canadians is scheduled for 8:00pm.
