Make it four wins in a row, as the Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires earned an overtime victory over the Regina Pat Canadians on the road last night.

The Legionnaires defeated the Pat Canadians 4-3 in overtime at Co-Operators Centre in the provincial capital, after a bit of a slow start.

Swift surrendered a pair of first-period goals to trail 2-0 after 20.

They didn't find the back of the net until Reed Jacobson scored on the powerplay with 12:50 remaining in the middle frame. Boston Bird and Lucas Ochitwa added assists.

The Pat Canadians scored with under four minutes remaining in the second to take a 3-1 lead - a mark that stood for 20 minutes.

With 3:23 remaining in regulation, Swift struck on the man-advantage once again, as Kersey Reich and Christian Albertson set up Chase Gallant, who cut the deficit to one.

Then with just 43 seconds left, Jacobson scored his second of the game on a feed from Riley Dekowny to tie it up and head into OT.

There, Mason Strutt provided some late-game heroics, scoring with 1:16 remaining in the extra frame to give the Legionnaires the win.

Jacob Herman earned the win for Swift Current, who looks to improve on their 6-2-0-0 record Saturday on the road in Tisdale.

Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. on October 20 against the Trojans.
