A new Diamond Energy Female Midget AAA Wildcats player sits atop the organization's all-time scoring list.

With an assist on the game-winning-goal Saturday night in a 4-3 victory over the Battlefords Sharks, forward Taylor Lind moved into first all-time with 105 points.

"It was a big team goal, but yeah it was awesome to get that milestone accomplished there," Lind said, who added another assist in Sunday's game to now sit at 106 points.

The Shaunavon-born sophomore Wildcat jumped past Chloe Smith's previous mark of 104, a fitting person to take the title from since Smith was the team captain in Lind's rookie season last year.

"Chloe is such a respectable player. She's so smart, so skilled - all-around nice, honestly. It's a huge accomplishment being able to be ranked up top up there with her," Lind noted, saying Smith's veteran guidance from the 2016-17 season hasn't gone unnoticed. "I learned so much. As soon as we started playing together the chem just totally worked. She taught me a bunch of vision, all of my skill last year that I gained - she had help with it 100%."

Lind reached the 105 point mark in just 51 career games. The 16-year-old piled up 58 points (36 G, 22 A) in 28 games as a rookie, and is enjoying a similar pace this season.

With 48 points (26 G, 22 A) in 24 games played, Lind says that teams game-planning for her more this season have allowed for more puck distribution, and in turn, more secondary scoring.

"Well we obviously have a different team this year. Our offense is a bit more spread out, which is nice to see as a team," Lind explained. "We've really got comfortable this year. We're working into our lines, and getting some little kinks worked out - it's starting to look good."

Now with no one left to surpass on the Wildcats' all-time scoring list, Lind continues her ascent up the Sask Female Midget AAA Hockey League's list. Her 62 goals and 106 points are good for 7th and 14th all-time, respectively.

Shifting to the Wildcats' final home game of the season, Swift faces a team who they've played neck-and-neck with all season, yet are 0-3 against on the year.

The Notre Dame Hounds head to Fairview West tonight, having not won by more than one goal all season. They defeated the Wildcats 1-0 in OT, 3-2 in double-OT, and 4-3 in regulation.

"We lost to them twice in overtime, and the other one I was out for half the game and Taylor Kirwan, which is another huge part of our team, was out for the whole game," said Lind. "I think we're very evenly matched against them, and I think that this is a huge game going into playoffs."

"Knowing how back-and-forth we've been with them, to put a little tick on our side of the scoreboard would be nice to make sure they don't get the sweep. Yeah I for sure think it will be a great game - super evenly-matched."

Winners of their last three games, the Wildcats host the Hounds at 8 p.m. tonight in their third-last game of the regular season.
