The Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos made light work of the Notre Dame Hounds on the road last night to extend their unbeaten streak to start the 2018-19 season.

Swift topped the Hounds 5-0 in Wilcox, using five different goal scorers in the game.

Ryland Hornung, Beau Larson, Levi Lamotte, Cash Arntsen, and Riley Skarbon all found the back of the net for the Midget Broncos.

Hornung added an assist, while defenceman Levi Brewer had two assists for the game's lone multi-point efforts.

Justin Dueck stood strong in the road tilt, stopping all 21 shots he faced, en route to the W in net for the Midget AA Broncos.

The win pushed Swift to a 14-0-0-0 record to start the season, out-scoring opponents 70-21 over that stretch.

A tough weekend now awaits for the Midget Broncos, as they take on the South Division's second-place Regina Vics (9-2-0-0) on the road on Saturday.

Swift then heads back to Fairview West for a Sunday contest with the 6-4-1-1 Notre Dame Argos.

Saturday's contest against the Vics is the second meeting between the two top teams this seasons - the first meeting was a 1-0 shutout win for the Broncos.

Puck drop in that game gets underway from C6 at the Co-operators Centre in Regina at 7:45 p.m. tomorrow.
