The streak now stands at 21 straight wins to start the season for the Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos, after a two-win road weekend.

Swift Current had another low-scoring game in a 3-1 win over the Estevan Bruins on Saturday.

Estevan held a 1-0 lead through the first period, but Swift Current responded with two in the second and one in the third.

Goal came from Quinn Patenaude, Ryland Hornung, and Levi Brewer, while Levi Lamotte assisted on all three goals.

Justin Dueck made 24 saves for the Midget AA Broncos, who then travelled to Weyburn for a Sunday afternoon tilt with the Wings.

Swift Current found their scoring touch, as the goals piled up in a 9-1 thrashing.

Riley Skarbon (3 G, 1 A) and Matt Christianson (2 G, 2 A) had a game high four points, while Hornung added a pair of goals in the one-sided win.

Brad Nyen made 17 saves for the win in net.

They're now off until a December 19 road tilt in Regina against the Capitals.
