The Midget AAA 57's had a rough go of things in the provincial capital last night.

They were out-scored a combined 22-8, getting swept by the Regina White Sox over a double-header.

Swift Current dropped the opener 13-3.

Quinn Patenaude had two hits, while Nathan McInnis and Hunter Johnson drove in a run each.

Logan Fritzke and Quinn Patenaude were dusted up on the mound, each pitching a pair of innings, and surrendering seven and six runs respectively.

The second game was a closer 9-5 loss.

Hunter Johnson hit a solo homer, his first of the season. Brody Alexandre, Fritzke, Nolan Klein, and Nic Bachiu each added an RBI as well.

McInnis and Fritzke had the lone two-hit game.

Brock Wall recorded the loss on the mound for Swift, going four innings and giving up five runs on six hits.

Klein came on in relief, pitching two innings and giving up four runs (three earned) on three hits.

The Midget AAA 57's (9-17) wrap up their regular season schedule this weekend on the road in Regina once again.

They take on the Regina Wolfpack in a double-header on Saturday, before battling the Regina Athletics in a Sunday double-header.
