Three Swift Current Minor Hockey teams have earned their way to their respective provincial final series.


First up, the Whitecap Resources Midget A Broncos carried a 6-1 lead over the Prairie Storm on the road for game 2 of their two-game total point series.

The Midget A Broncos lost 6-5 in the Sunday afternoon game, but won 11-7 overall to advance.

They take on the Warman Wildcats in the Provincial final.

Warman hosts Game 1 Friday night, while the Midget A Broncos host the second-and-final game of the series at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex.

Game 2 goes Sunday at 4 p.m.


Next up, the Bantam A Broncos were on the road in Martensville yesterday holding a resounding 9-2 lead in the two-game total point series.

Though Martensville won 7-4 in Game 2, the Bantam A Broncos claimed a combined 13-9 victory.

The Bantam A Broncos now take on Lumsden in the Provincial final.

Game 1 is set for Friday night in Lumsden, with Game 2 back at Fairview West Sunday at 4:15 p.m.


Lastly, the Pee Wee A Broncos followed suit, this time on home ice.

After taking Game 1 by a 6-2 score over the Terriers in Yorkton, the Pee Wee A Broncos won 5-3 on Sunday at the iPlex.

The 11-5 combined series win means the Pee Wee A Broncos take on Meadow Lake in the Provincial final.

Game 1 goes Saturday in Meadow Lake, with Game 2 back in Swift Current on March 30.
