The SWT Pee Wee AA Broncos are one win away from clinching a spot in the Provincial final.

The South Sask Division-winning Pee Wee AA Broncos topped the Regina Division-winning Prairie Storm Extreme 5-1 in Game 1 of their Provincial semi-final on the road in White City Friday night.

Hudson Darby kept his recent scoring touch rolling, adding two goals and an assist in the game. Meanwhile, Makstr McIntyre chipped in a trio of helpers from the blueline for another three-point effort.

Elsewhere, Jake Starke piled in a pair of goals, Peyton Keller added two assists, with the fifth goal coming off the stick of Parker Rondeau.

Another Berney Weston win in net for Swift Current pushes the Prairie Storm to the edge of elimination.

The Pee Wee AA Broncos host the Prairie Storm Sunday from Fairview East arena, looking to join the Warman Wildcats in the Provincial final series.

Game 2 puck drop is 3:15 p.m. from Fairview East. Game 3, if necessary, would go back in White City on Wednesday.
