Although an hour and 14 minute rain delay prevented the Swift Current bats from starting on time, there was nothing slowing them down once first pitch was thrown.

The 57's jumped all over the Edmonton Prospects in the Alberta capital scoring 15 runs in the first four innings, en route to a 22-4 victory.

Riley Campbell, Matt Bondarchuk, Nick Canas and Kyle MacDonald each had three RBI in the game to lead the way on offence for Swift Current.

Bondarchuk and Canas, along with Mason Brown and Cole Thibodeau each had three hits in the contest as well.

Making his second start of the season, Jagger Harjo picked up the win on the mound with six solid innings.

The Midwest City, Oklahoma native allowed three runs (two of them earned), on five hits while striking out three.

Coming on in relief, Will Blanchard pitched the final three innings of the game to earn the save.

Along with Swift Current's win Thursday night, the Regina Red Sox dropped a 4-2 decision to Weyburn, meaning the 57's now sit alone on top of the WMBL's East Division.

Swift Current will return to ReMax Field Friday night for a second straight date with the Prospects before returning home to Mitchell Field on Saturday night to host Moose Jaw.
