SHSAA senior curling playoffs got underway over the weekend with sectionals taking place across the southwest.  

Rinks in Hazlet, Hodgeville and Shaunavon all played host to the playdowns with the following teams advancing to Districts next week.  

In Boys competition Hazlet, Maple Creek, Frontier, Eastend, Ponteix and the Swift Current Comp are all moving on.

In Girls action both Team Murray and Team Gibson out of Gull Lake advanced, along with Maple Creek and Hazlet.

The Mixed compeition saw Eastend, Shaunavon, Hodgeville, Ponteix and the Swift Current Comp. all advanced.

This weekend's Boys District will take place in Cadillac, while both the Girls and Mixed teams are off to Ponteix.
