Under a month now until Under18 SaskFirst Female and Male Midget Tournaments in the provincial capital, and a combined 20 players either from, or playing their hockey in the southwest are set to take part.

 Among the 75 players at the U18 Female tournament set to be divided into teams are a large chunk of the Diamond Energy Female Midget AAA Wildcats roster, as well as a forward from the Full Line Ag Female Midget AA Broncos.

The U18 Female SaskFirst tourney runs April 5-8 at the Co-operators Centre in Regina.


Another even ten from the extended southwest are on the list of 80 Male Midget players to be divided into teams in April as well.

A well-divided contingent includes four goalies, and both a trio of defencemen and forwards:

The SaskFirst Male Midget tournament runs the week after the female tourney, going from April 12-15 at Co-operators Centre in Regina.
