In Prince Albert over the weekend at St. Mary's invitational tournament, the Swift Current Comp Sr Colts basketball team worked a 2-2 record.

The Colts won 80-71 over Saskatoon's Tommy Douglas. Braedon Friesen racked up a team-high 37, Tanner Scott added 21, while Logan Fritzke and Brock Wall each had 7.

Swift also won 76-60 over Meadow Lake's Carpenter School as well. Once again, Friesen led the way, this time with 28. Fritzke put up a dozen, while Wall had 7 again.

However, the Sr Colts went on to drop their third game 76-59 to Saskatoon's Aden Bowman. Fritkze had the team high this time around with 19, Friesen had 17, and Joseph chipped in 9.

In the fourth and final contest, Swift was edged 60-55 by Prince Albert Carlton. Friesen put up 14, while Fritzke had 11, and once again Joseph added 9 points.

Next up, the Sr Colts host the Doug Armstrong Memorial tournament this Friday and Saturday at SCCHS. The Colts open the tournament at 4 p.m. on Friday against the Humboldt Collegiate Mohawks.
