The Swift Current 57s ended their two-game set in Edmonton in style yesterday night.

After the 22-4 beating the 57s laid in game 1 against the Prospects, the dominance continued - this time on the mound. In a 4-0 shut out win, pitcher Bobby St. Pierre (4-4) went the distance pitching 9 strong innings, racking up 6 strikeouts, and allowing only 4 hits on 89 pitches.

The complete-game shutout for St. Pierre also lowered his ERA to 2.86 which moves him into fifth place in the league. The 2.86 ERA places St. Pierre between teammates Michael Michalski (4th - 2.65 ERA) and James Smith (6th - 3.35 ERA).

Although the 57s bats were understandably cooler than the 21-hit affair in game 1, they didn't cool down much at all, as an 8-hit game saw seven different Swift players contribute in Alberta's capital city.

Riding high on the 26-run, 29-hit series in Edmonton, as well as a 4-game win streak on the road, Swift returns to familiar turf at Mitchell Field tonight when the 57s (23-11) take on the Moose Jaw Miller Express (17-18) at 7:05pm.
