Shaunavon's Dyson Stevenson has put pen to paper to extend his stint in the ECHL to a fifth season.

The 24-year-old re-signed with the Wichita Thunder in what will be his second season with the Kansas-based club.

After spending the first three years of his professional career split between the Gwinnett Gladiators, and Allen Americans, the 6-foot, 185-pound forward posted career numbers in his first year with the Thunder.

As captain of the Thunder, Stevenson tallied 30 points (14 G, 16 A) and 188 penalty minutes in 64 games.

Stevenson's ECHL career has spanned 240 regular season games, where he's racked up 101 points (41 G, 60 A). In 61 playoff games, he's added 23 points (6 G, 17 A).

The former member of the Swift Current Legionnaires and Regina Pats will serve as Captain once again in his second season with the midwest club.
