          -The 6'0", 159lbs defencemen posted 4 goals and 12 assists in 30 regular season games (2016/2017).

2nd Selection (1st Round, 13th Overall)- Ben King, Forward, Pursuit of Excellence Bantam Prep.

          -While playing both forward and defence for POE in the 2016/2017 season, King finished the regular season with 16 goals and 30 assists in 22 games.

3rd Selection (3rd Round, 57th overall)- Ethan Hein, Goalie, Saskatoon Maniacs.

          -Playing in the Saskatchewan Bantam 'AA' Hockey League, Hein recorded a 2.37 GAA over 16 regular season games, which led to a 14-2 record. In 7 playoff games, Hein went 5-2 with a 2.43 GAA.

4th Selection (6th Round, 117th Overall)- Alex Thacker, Forward, Fort Saskatchewan Rangers

          -Thacker recorded 23 goals and 34 assists in 36 regular season games for Fort Saskatchewan, while helping lead the team to an Alberta Provincial title and a 3rd place finish at the Western Canada Bantam 'AAA' Championship.

5th Selection (6th Round, 123rd Overall)- Bryce Margetson, Defenceman, Delta Hockey Academy Bantam Prep.

          -A 6'1", 154lbs blue-liner, Margetson had 2 goals and 7 assists for Delta Prep. over the 30 regular season games.

6th Selection (7th Round, 145th Overall)- Massan Ziola, Forward, Yorkton Terriers

          -Ziola finished third in team scoring for Yorkton playing in the Saskatchewan Bantam 'AA' Hockey League. He posted 24 goals and 31 assists in 27 games. Ziola also had 3 goals and 8 assists in 4 playoff games.

7th Selection (7th Round, 154th Overall)- Daron Cyr, Defenceman, Fort Saskatchewan Rangers

          -Measuring in at 5'10", 139lbs, the Fort Saskatchewan defenceman put up 7 goals and 18 assists in 36 regular season games. He is the second player from the Alberta Bantam 'AAA' Provincial championship team to be selected by Swift Current.

8th Selection (10th Round, 211th Overall)- Wyatt Marlow, Forward, Okanagan Hockey Academy Bantam Prep.

          -A Cranbrook, BC native, Marlow finished the 2016-2017 season with 20 points (8 goals and 12 assists). Marlow is 5'07" and 150lbs.
